A few common questions about payment methods and tax documentation.

Can we pay by check?

Ande's preferred payment methods are credit card and ACH bank transfer through your Ande payment link, which give you the fastest reconciliation and clearest documentation. Checks may be accepted in some cases but are not preferred. If a client needs to pay by check, contact [email protected] for the correct payable name and remittance address before sending.

Are wire transfers supported?

Yes. Wire transfers are handled the same way as ACH bank transfers.

Can payments be collected in person?

No. Ande can't process in-store or in-person transactions. Collect payment through your Ande payment link (credit card or ACH) instead.

Can I get a VAT receipt?

VAT does not apply to US-based events — they're subject to local sales tax, not VAT — so a VAT receipt isn't applicable. If you need an invoice or receipt for your records, see Invoicing and Monitoring Payment Status.

Is your W-9 current? Do I need an updated one?

A W-9 does not expire — it remains valid unless there's been a change to the legal entity or tax information. As long as nothing has changed, the W-9 on file remains current and compliant. All W-9s come from Ande (not the venue's own W-9), since Ande is the merchant of record — Ande receives customer payment and issues payouts, so receipts, invoices, and W-9s all come from Ande. To request the most recent Ande W-9, contact [email protected]. See also the Ande Payments Finance FAQ and Explaining Ande to Your Clients: Disclosure & Contract Language.
