You may have heard about a Tripleseat connection update — the move from OAuth 1.0 to OAuth 2.0. Here's what it means for your venue.
Do I need to do anything?
No — if your venue is already live with Ande, there's nothing you need to do. Our team is handling the OAuth 1.0 to 2.0 migration and working directly with Tripleseat to make sure everything stays set up for Ande clients. You and your team are all set.
I got an email from Tripleseat saying my integration may stop working — should I act?
No. If you received a notice from Tripleseat (for example, "A Few Weeks Left: Your Tripleseat Integration May Stop Working") about this update, there's nothing you need to do. Ande is managing the migration directly with Tripleseat and your connection will keep working without interruption. Feel free to forward any such notice to Ande Venue Support if you'd like confirmation.
What is this?
OAuth is the secure connection that lets Ande and Tripleseat exchange information. Tripleseat is upgrading from OAuth 1.0 to OAuth 2.0, and Ande is managing that transition on your behalf so your events, payments, and data keep flowing without interruption.
