If an event is cancelled, changed at the last minute, or a client no-shows — and your event contract allows a cancellation or change fee — you can collect it through Ande.

How to charge the fee

If the client already paid a deposit

If your cancellation terms let you retain some or all of a deposit you've already collected, you can keep it and refund any remaining balance per your contract. See Refunds.

Clean up the cancelled event

Deactivate any outstanding payment links tied to the cancelled event so they can't be paid by mistake. See Deactivating a Payment Link.

Good to know

The cancellation or change fee amount and terms are governed by your event contract — Ande simply processes the charge. If you're unsure whether a fee applies, check your signed contract or reach out to your Ande Account Manager.
