Logging Unlogged Payments in Tripleseat with the Ande Chrome Browser Extension

The Unlogged Payments feature in the Ande Chrome Extension makes it easy to stay on top of payments that have been made through Ande but haven't yet been logged or marked as paid in Tripleseat.

What The Unlogged Payments Feature Does

Instead of relying on email notifications or manually cross-checking payments, the Unlogged Payments feature shows you a single, consolidated list of all payments that still need to be updated in Tripleseat. You can also easily view which payments need logging from each individual event and mark the payment PAID with a single click. This helps ensure your records are accurate and up to date, without the extra hassle.

Steps to Log a Payment from the Ande Chrome Extension

  1. Log into your Tripleseat account.

  2. Open the Ande Chrome Browser Extension

Starting from the Unlogged Payments tab:

  1. Click on the Unlogged Payments tab in the extension.

  2. Select the payment you'd like to log.

  3. You'll be taken directly to the Payments tab of the event for that payment. Continue as below.

Starting from an individual event:

  1. Click a payment with a PAID status in the list of Payments on the event in the extension

    1. If there is an existing matching payment on the Tripleseat event:

      1. Click "Log Payment".

    2. If there is not an existing matching payment on the Tripleseat event:

      1. Select "New Tripleseat Payment"

      2. Click "Create & Log Payment"

    3. The Ande Chrome Extension will automatically mark the payment as Paid on the date the transaction was made, Payment Method: House Account, Reference: Ande.

  2. Once logged, the payment will be marked as "Logged" in the Payments list on the event, and it will be removed from the Unlogged Payments tab in the extension automatically. Update the list by clicking the refresh button in the top right corner.

  3. If an event has more than one Ande payment, each will appear as a separate row in the extension. You can follow the same steps to log each one.

Troubleshooting the "Could not find Add Payment" button error

You may see an error on the browser extension letting you know it could not find the "Add a payment" button. This is the button is required to log payments to Tripleseat, and there are a few reasons it might not appear:

  • Your Tripleseat role doesn't have payment permissions. If your user role in Tripleseat doesn't include permission to create payments, the button won't appear on the page. Ask your Tripleseat admin to update your role's permissions.

  • You're viewing a multi-day booking. Payments for multi-day bookings need to be logged through the individual event dates rather than the parent booking, so the "Add a payment" button won't be present on those pages.

Something else? If neither of the above applies and you're still not seeing the button, reach out to your Ande account manager.

If the extension isn't working

If the Ande Chrome extension ever won't load or won't let you create a payment link, you don't have to wait — you can create and send payment links directly from the Ande Venue Portal. The Venue Portal does everything the extension does for payments, so it's the recommended fallback whenever the extension is unavailable.
