Generating a Payment Link via the Ande Chrome Extension (Tripleseat Events)

This article is for teams using Tripleseat to manage corporate events and collect payment through Ande.The Ande Chrome Browser Extension allows you to generate payment links directly from a Tripleseat event without leaving your browser.

If you haven’t already installed the extension, install it from the Chrome Web Store using Google Chrome. For any issues with installing the browser extension, please reference our Getting Started & Requirements articles.

When you’re ready to collect payment for a Tripleseat-managed corporate event, follow the steps below in order:

  1. Log in to your Tripleseat account

  2. Navigate to the the specific event you are collecting payment for

  3. Confirm the event is a corporate event

    • This workflow is intended for corporate events

    • For social or personal events, continue using your standard payment process

  4. Create the contract and documents
    Follow your normal SOP to create contracts and event documents before collecting payment.

  5. Hide Tripleseat payments from the Guest Portal
    This prevents clients from using Tripleseat’s native payment options instead of Ande.

    • Go to the Payments tab on the event

    • Hover over the gear icon in the top-right corner

    • Select Hide from Guest Portal

    Note: This hides the “Pay Online” button and payment details but does not prevent clients from authorizing a card or bank account.

  6. Open the Ande Chrome Browser Extension
    Click the Ande icon in your Chrome toolbar. The extension will automatically detect the open Tripleseat event.

  7. Click “Collect Payment” in the Browser extension

  8. Choose a payment option
    Select one of the following:

    • A payment amount associated with the event (must be tied to a contract)

    • Authorize a credit card ($0 charge)

    • Custom payment amount

  9. Complete and share the payment link

    • Finish the payment flow

    • You will see an option to waive processing fees- please reference our article "When to Waive Processing Fees"

    • Copy the generated payment link

    • Share the payment link with the client using your preferred communication method

The payment link will appear in the PayLinks list within the Chrome Extension, where you can re-copy or deactivate it as needed.

To view the reservation associated with the payment link in Ande go to: https://ande.ai/venue-portal/reservations/ or choose Link to Ande from the extension.

If the extension isn't working

If the Ande Chrome extension ever won't load or won't let you create a payment link, you don't have to wait — you can create and send payment links directly from the Ande Venue Portal. The Venue Portal does everything the extension does for payments, so it's the recommended fallback whenever the extension is unavailable.
