This is commonly used for deposits and final balances, or when a client prefers to pay part of the total with one method and the remainder with another (for example, credit card and ACH).

Splitting a payment is supported both in the Ande Venue Portal and via the Ande Chrome Browser Extension.

Splitting a Payment via the Ande Chrome Browser Extension

  1. Open the Ande Chrome Browser Extension and log in

  2. Navigate to the event in your event management system

  3. Open the extension — event details will be automatically detected

  4. Click Collect Payment

  5. Choose Ande Paylink

  6. Repeat the Paylink steps generate another payment link for the remaining balance

Each payment link will appear in the PayLinks list within the extension, where you can re-copy or deactivate links as needed

Splitting a Payment via the Venue Portal:

  1. Log in to Ande ande.ai/venue-portal/reservations

  2. Navigate to Reservations

  3. Click on the relevant reservation

  4. In the Payment Links tab, click the Add button.

  5. Create a new payment link for the appropriate amount

  6. Send the additional payment link to the client

Each payment link is tracked separately and applied to the same reservation.

Can a deposit be paid in multiple payments?

Yes. Create one payment link per payment — each is associated with the same reservation, and the totals all count toward the final balance, the same way a deposit applies in Tripleseat today.

Can I set up a payment schedule?

Payment schedules live in Tripleseat and appear on the client's contract. Create the corresponding payment links in Ande for each scheduled payment.

Can I limit the number of payment methods for a single event?

Yes. The number of payment methods a client can use is determined by how many payment links you create — each link is a single payment.
