Ande Accessibility Statement

Our official accessibility statement for the Ande AI Agent

Written by Mehr Luthra

We believe an inquiry is the front door to hospitality, and a front door only works if everyone can open it.

As of September 10th, 2026, The Ande AI agent is designed and tested to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA — the standard recognized by the U.S. federal government, referenced in the European standard EN 301 549, and treated as the practical benchmark for the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Accessibility is ongoing work rather than a finished state. Despite our best efforts and testing, some parts of the Ande agent may not yet fully support every assistive technology, browser, device, or configuration, and a guest may still encounter a barrier we haven't found.

What this covers

This statement covers the Ande agent: the inquiry assistant embedded on a venue's website, and the guest-facing conversation within it. It does not cover the venue's wider website, which sits outside our control.

Accessibility relies in part on how a venue configures the agent, including their choice of brand colors, uploaded images, menus, and custom written content. The venue portal is designed to help catch common configuration issues, such as low-contrast color choices, before an agent goes live.

Feedback

Standards evolve, and guests use assistive technology in ways no checklist fully anticipates, so we review the agent on an ongoing basis and update this statement as the product changes.

If you encounter an accessibility barrier using the Ande agent, please tell us at [email protected]. Reports from guests and venues are treated as high priority and routed directly to our product team. We aim to respond within 2 business days, and where we can't resolve an issue immediately we will tell you what we're doing about it and provide the information you need in another accessible format in the meantime.
