Why is DineWise changing its name to Ande?
We’re evolving our name and look to better reflect who we are and what we do. In business, “T&E” stands for Travel & Entertainment — and we’re proud to power the &E.
Our new name, Ande, celebrates that focus: helping companies and hospitality partners connect people through shared experiences.
It’s the same trusted platform you know, now with a fresh identity that reflects where we’re headed.
When will the change happen?
The switch to Ande happens on November 13. You’ll start seeing our new name, logo, and design across the platform, website, and communications beginning that day.
Is Ande a new company?
No — it’s the same company you’ve been working with. We’re just operating under a new legal name: Ande.ai, Inc. Your contracts, agreements, and relationships with us remain fully valid and unchanged.
Why “.ai”?
AI powers everything we do — it’s what allows us to deliver the best, fastest, most efficient service and experience possible. The “.ai” in our name reflects the technology that drives our platform and our progress.
What’s changing for me as a hospitality partner?
Nothing, except our continued platform growth. Everything you do with DineWise will continue just the same under our new name, Ande. Our emails and communications will come from @ande.ai instead of @dinewise.com. You’ll see the new name appear on invoices and within the product interface. That’s it!
Will my login or credentials change?
No — you can continue logging in the same way you always have. Your account information, venue listings, and reservations remain exactly the same.
What action do I need to take?
Technically, no action is required from you or your clients for payments to continue working. But we do recommend doing a couple of things for consistency and clear communication:
Update client-facing materials — Starting November 13, make sure any contracts, invoices, templates, or other materials that previously mentioned DineWise are updated to Ande.
Refresh your W9 — If you keep DineWise’s W9 on file, replace it with the new Ande.ai, Inc. W9. It will be available for download here on November 13. Before then, you can request the it by emailing [email protected].
Be prepared for client inquiries — Some clients may notice the change in name or appearance. Ensure your team is aware of the update and can confidently confirm that all systems and payments continue to operate as usual.
What does this mean for our partnership?
Our relationship and commitments remain exactly the same — this rebrand simply reflects our continued investment in your success and the evolution of our platform. We’re excited to keep growing together under our new name: Ande.
Will there be changes to billing, payments, or legal documents?
Our legal name is now Ande.ai, Inc., but everything else — including your payment process — remains unchanged. Your invoices and billing statements will now show Ande.ai, Inc. instead of DineWise, Inc.
If you require updated documentation (like a new W-9), please reach out to your account manager or email [email protected].
What should I tell my finance or accounting team?
Let them know that DineWise, Inc. has changed its name to Ande.ai, Inc. They can update their records accordingly. Our tax ID and banking details remain the same. If your team needs an updated W-9 or invoice format, please contact [email protected].
Do I have the same access to the payments product with Ande.ai?
All paylinks created through DineWise will continue to work exactly as they do now. When clients click on an existing DineWise paylink, they’ll still land on the same payment page, which will now reflect the Ande name and look. For any clients where DineWise was made an approved vendor, this status will be unaffected.
There’s no interruption or change to how payments are processed.
Do existing DineWise payment links still work?
Yes. All existing links will remain valid and automatically redirect to an Ande payment page.
You do not need to recreate or resend existing paylinks — even if the URL includes “dinewise.com.” Clients can continue using them without any disruption.
What if I still get emails from DineWise?
During our transition, you may continue to see @dinewise.com email addresses or references. Don’t worry — they’ll forward automatically to our new domain, @ande.ai. All communications are still coming from the same trusted team.
When should we start using the Ande name in our communications?
Starting November 13, all external and client-facing communications (including contracts, invoices, and templates) should use Ande instead of DineWise. Before then, you can continue to reference DineWise as usual.
Will payment confirmation emails look different?
On and after November 13, payment confirmation emails will:
Come from sender “Ande (formerly DineWise)”
Reflect the Ande name and design
In some cases, a client may see one payment confirmation referencing DineWise and another showing Ande. That’s expected and doesn’t affect payment processing in any way.
What happens with manual charges or cards on file?
All cards on file and any saved payment methods will remain valid and chargeable.
If you process a manual charge (for example, a final balance), the charge will go through as usual — there’s no need to reauthorize or request a new card.
What about ACH payments?
Starting November 13, our ACH instructions and W9 will reflect Ande instead of DineWise.
If a client has already onboarded DineWise as a vendor, they can continue using that without any changes.
ACH payments already in transit during the transition will not be affected.
Do clients need to update W9s or payment details?
A new W9 for Ande.ai, Inc. will be available on November 13.
Clients do not need to update the W9 they currently have on file. The existing DineWise W9 remains valid and can continue to be used without issue.
However, some clients may choose to update their records to the new Ande version. To request it, please email [email protected].
What do we tell clients if they see “DineWise” somewhere after the switch?
You can reassure them that DineWise recently changed to Ande — it’s the same company, same team, and same platform. Everything works exactly the same. There’s no impact on their payments, reservations, or existing agreements.
